Harold Luster Memorial Shoot
30 April 2005
The purpose of this charity shoot is to raise money for a endowed scholarship.
The scholarship when completely funded will be awarded to a Robertson
County high school student wanting to pursue a higher education in the
Para-Medical field or Fire Science.
This will be the 4th annual shoot and to date
we have raised $13,000. Our goal this year is $7,000.
The shoot is named after Harold Luster who worked for RCEMS, SJEMS
and Navasota Fire Department. He was an avid shooter and hunter.
He was killed by a drunk driver on September 20th 2001.
The first target of the day will be shot by Harold's father (Eddie) at 9:30am.
The first round will begin with a shotgun start at 10:00am
Your entry donation pays for your lunch. Lunch is being catered
by Ama's from Hearne. The meal will be fajitas. Non-shooters
may purchase lunch for $7.00.
Lunch at 12:00 Noon
Second group at 1:30pm
Closing ceremony by 4:00pm
We will have a raffle for a Weatherby SAS Synthetic 12ga auto 26" barrel.
Raffle tickets are $5.00 and on sale now by RCEMS employees or
available on the day of the shoot.
