Each Thursday shooters will pay $40 to enter. $15 of this amount will go to fund the jackpot. Each shooter will have 50 sporting targets presented. The shooter with the highest score will win $60. The remaining shooters' names will be placed into a hat for three random drawings for the jackpot. The 1st random drawing will be for 50% of jackpot, the 2nd will be for 30% & the 3rd will be 20% of the jackpot. For examples spreadsheet click here. Last year we had as few as 10 & as many as 30 shooters with an average number of around 16 shooters. At 16 this would pay $60 for Highscore with the remaining 15 names going into draw as follows: $50 for 1st draw, $30 for 2nd draw & $20 for 3rd draw, not a bad deal seeing as 4 of the 16 got some cash back while having a great time. At the end of the summer there may be a 100 bird Fiesta Shoot of Sporting Clays. ing partner may be chosen for you at random. The main focus is for all shooters to have a safe and enjoyable time. Check back for weather delays and updated info. Tonkaway Ranch, Gunsmoke shoots may use 5 different sporting stations each shoot. Shooters may shoot 5 pair at 5 stations = 50 targets. This may help speed up the sporting clays shoots with less walking and help with low light conditions & summer humidity. This year the first 5 shoots will be at Gunsmoke and the last 5 at Tonkaway.
